Woodworking templates - and thousands of them! What an accomplishment to have that skill and enjoy it as a hobby.

A website will allow you to market & sell anything you want!

Example: E-Bay. Someone sold a ball of belly button lint to the highest bidder, for goodness sake. Surely, other craftsmen and hobbyist are out there who will benefit from your vast collection.

1. Organize & categorize your collection. I would consult the original publisher of the designs to make certain there are no copyright infringement stipulations. If you own the templates and you give due credit to the artist, it's not likely you will have a problem. Do your research first. 

2. Take pictures of the templates and of some of your finished work...add creative descriptions. Do you have specialty items or a lot of one thing? Do you have more woodworking projects with lighthouses or animals or home crafts? That will help you come up with a great domain name (which we will register for you) and to target your potential buyers.

3. Keep very good records. (Big Brother is watching). Don't forget to consider shipping expenses if you will be mailing these out.

I have been woodworking for years. I have amassed over a thousand woodworking template patterns. My wife wants me to throw them all out!!! If I got my own website, couldn't I just sell them to other hobbyists?   How do I go about doing this? Can I sell them on-line and how will people know I'm even out there?
